Canton Trade Fairs

The fun at Yangshuo had to come to an end. It was time to go back to work for a day or two. The unimaginably huge Canton Trade Fairs were on the agenda. There were lighting equipment vendors to be talked to.

In Guangzhou we had the pleasure to stay at the home of some friends of a friend, Ela and Przemek. They were incredibly generous and helpful, opened up their home to us and lent their expertise.

The fairs are simply huge. Broken into four phases, five days long, they cover every manufacturable good you can imagine. In each phase, two gigantic buildings are filled with vendors, segregated into big halls. We’ve spent a full day walking through two halls of just lighting equipment. It was a tiring, but ultimately fruitful visit.
