Red Rock Road

In preparation for the strenuous hiking which awaits us at the Grand Canyon, we took in everything which the spas and pools at the Luxor had to offer. Our pampered butts then hit the road.

The day was an uneventful but scenic road trip along the south of Zion National Park. We took in the sights this wonderful landscape has to offer. The ever-changing red rock formations provided a colorful backdrop for the day’s long drive. Along the way we stopped at a pottery and petrified wood monger and bought some of his wares.

Once we arrived we retired for the night early in preparation of tomorrow’s hike down to the Grand Canyon.
